What I Believe

I am a dedicated Physiotherapist with 3.5+ years of clinical experience in a specialized spinal-care hospital, with a strong focus on the assessment, rehabilitation, and functional management of patients with spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. My clinical experience encompasses the management of a wide range of spinal presentations, including low-back pain, neck pain, disc-related conditions, radiculopathy, post-operative spinal rehabilitation, and functional movement disorders associated with spinal pathology. I believe effective physiotherapy is not limited to symptom relief. It involves understanding the contributing factors, educating the patient, improving movement quality, developing physical capacity, and empowering individuals to actively participate in their recovery.

Clinical Approach

My Clinical Approach

“A structured and patient-centered process:”

1. Assess

I begin by understanding the patient's symptoms, history, functional limitations, physical findings, and individual goals.

2. Identify

I identify relevant contributing factors such as mobility restrictions, muscle weakness, movement-control deficits, postural factors, reduced physical capacity, and activity-related limitations.

3. Plan

I develop an individualized rehabilitation program according to the patient's clinical presentation, stage of recovery, functional requirements, and tolerance.

4. Treat

I use appropriate physiotherapy interventions and therapeutic exercises to address the identified impairments and functional limitations.

5. Progress

Exercise intensity, complexity, resistance, and functional demands are progressively modified according to the patient's response and improvement.

6. Educate

I believe patient education is an essential part of spinal rehabilitation. I help patients understand their condition, exercise program, activity modification, posture, ergonomics, and strategies for long-term self-management.

7. Reassess

I monitor changes in symptoms, mobility, strength, function, exercise tolerance, and overall participation to guide ongoing rehabilitation.

Clinical Outcomes & Impact

“Over 3.5+ years in a spinal-care hospital, my clinical experience has allowed me to contribute to meaningful improvements in patients' physical function and quality of life.”
