Your Responsibilities as a Patient

  • Provide Accurate Information: Share complete and honest details about your health, medical history, past illnesses, medications, and allergies.
  • Follow the Treatment Plan: Cooperate and follow the treatment plans and medical advice recommended by your doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists.
  • Understand Consequences of Refusal: Accept responsibility for outcomes if you choose to refuse treatment or discontinue prescribed care against medical advice (LAMA/DAMA).
  • Respect Hospital Rules & Policies: Abide by all hospital policies, visitor regulations, visiting hours, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain Cleanliness & Hygiene: Cooperate with the hospital staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the hospital premises.
  • Show Courtesy & Respect: Treat all healthcare professionals, hospital staff, other patients, and visitors with respect, courtesy, and dignity.
  • Fulfill Financial Obligations: Ensure timely settlement of hospital bills, fees, and paperwork related to your treatment.
  • Secure Personal Belongings: Take responsibility for your personal belongings and valuables, as the hospital is not liable for their loss or damage.
  • Participate & Ask Questions: Actively participate in your care decisions and ask questions or seek clarity whenever needed.
