I had a complex deformity of the spine. However due to lack of access to quality healthcare in my country and monetary issues, I could not avail of a proper treatment. My deformity was corrected at Stavya by a major spine surgery where multiple screws were put into the spine so that I can stand straight with no obvious visible deformity. An entire surgery worth 5 lakhs of rupees was performed for a much smaller amount, thanks to special consideration from the hospital. આથી હું ચૌહાણ દિપ્તીબેન હર્ષદકુમાર ઉમર વર્ષ :41 રહેવાસી પાલનપુર , જી. બનાસકાંઠા મને છેલ્લા આઠેક માસથી મણકાની ગાદી ખસી જવાની બીમારી થયેલ . પાલનપુર ખાતે 5.11.2020 ના રોજ પ્રથમ MRI કરાવેલ જેમાં L 4-L5 અને L 5-S1 વચ્ચે ની ગાદીમાં સોજો અને ગાદી ખસી જવાનો પ્રોબ્લેમ થયેલ. પાલનપુર ખાતે સારવાર કરાવેલ છતાં કોઈ ફરક પડેલ નહિ અને ઓપેરશન કરાવવું પડશે એમજ સલાહ મોટા ભાગના ડૉક્ટર દ્વારા કરવામાં આવી હતી. ઓપેરશન વગર સારું થશે નહિ એમજ પ્રત્યુંતર મળતો રહેલ. દેશી વૈદ પાસે પણ સારવાર કરાવેલ છતાં ફર્ક પડેલ નહિ અને સંપૂર્ણ પથારી વશ થઇ ગયેલ. છેવટે Stavya Spine Hospital & Research Institute, અમદાવાદ ખાતે સારવાર લેવાનું નક્કી કરેલ. પ્રથમ વાર 25.12.2020 નારોજ સ્તવ્ય હોસ્પિટલ ની મુલાકાત કરી. ત્યારે હોસ્પિટલના ડૉક્ટર બિરજુ વ્યાસ સાહેબ દ્વારા તપાસ કરવામાં આવી . નવેસરથી MRI કરાવવામાં આવ્યો. ત્યાર બાદ ડૉક્ટર બિરજુ વ્યાસ સાહેબ અને ડૉક્ટર ભરતભાઈ દવે સાહેબ દ્વારા તપાસ કરી. ડૉક્ટર દવે સાહેબ દ્વારા એમજ કહેવામાં આવ્યુંકે તમારે ઓપેરશન કરાવવાની બિલકુલ જરૂર નથી . માત્ર ને માત્ર આરામ કરો. માત્ર દુખવા માટેની એક ગોળી લેવાનું જણાવ્યું અને એક માસ પછી ફરીથી બતાવવાનું કહેવામાં આવ્યું.
આમ ડૉક્ટર બિરજુ વ્યાસ સાહેબ અને ડૉક્ટર ભરતભાઈ દવે સાહેબની સારવાર અને સલાહ મુજબ એક મહિનાના આરામ બાદ મને રાહત થઇ અને ફરીથી 23.01.2021 ના રોજ હોસ્પિટલ ની મુલાકાત લીધી. આ સમયે ડૉક્ટર બિરજુ વ્યાસ સાહેબ દ્વારા આરામ ની સાથે સાથે કસરત કરવાનું તેમજ હળવું કામ પણ કરી શકો એમ જણાવી ઓછા પાવરવાળી દુખાવાની ગોળી માત્ર 1 મહિનો લેવાની સલાહ આપવામાં આવી.
આમ ડૉક્ટર બિરજુ વ્યાસ સાહેબ અને ડૉક્ટર ભારત ભાઈ દવે સાહેબની સાચી કુનેહપૂર્વકની સારવાર , સલાહ થી મને આરામ થઇ ગયેલ છે. હું ઘરનું કામકાજ, રસોઈ વગેરે બનાવી શકું છું .
